Husam laughs off Hadi's 'skipping GE14' claim

Salor assemblyperson Husam Musa laughed off PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang's claim that Husam was making wrongful allegations against PAS so he can be disqualified from contesting in the next general election.

Hadi said Husam is wrongfully accusing PAS of accepting RM90 million from suspect sources to court a defamation suit so he can skip GE14, but Husam said this does not make sense.

"Hadi's statement is very funny. I have never heard of anyone who lost in a civil suit being disqualified from standing in elections," he told Malaysiakini when contacted.
