How spacious is a motorcycle seat? MCA concerned over 'Ops Bonceng'

MCA is concerned that the "Ops Bonceng" operation by the Terengganu Religious Affairs Department (JHEAT) may descend into a witchhunt against Muslim couples as well as others who look like Malays.

The party's religious harmony bureau chairperson Ti Lian Ker said they are "cautious" about the operation, which stipulates that unmarried Muslim couples in the state should keep "their hands to themselves" and keep their distance from each other while astride a motorcycle.

Enforcers have also said they might extend the enforcement to passengers of other vehicles, including cars.
