‘Let’s export Rani and Jamal to Myanmar’

COMMENT A friend reading the article, ‘I’ve slapped a tiger, what more Suu Kyi’ could not help but laugh at the Martabat Jalinan Muhibbah Malaysia (MJMM) president, Abdul Rani Kulup.

“Is he an actor of some sort? Or a clown? What a jerk!” he remarked.

I could not help but laugh, when he described Abdul Rani, the man who claims that he is championing the cause of the Malays and the Muslims in this country. He is no different to Sungai Besar Umno division leader Jamal Md Yunos, who wanted to spit on the hand of former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Both of them are no better than the ‘world-renowned’ bomoh who appeared at the KL International Airport with his two coconuts and a telescope made from bamboo.

Commenting on Rani, a reader even wrote: “I know he bought a picture of a tiger and slap(ped) the picture... he is tell(ing) the truth... a very brave man, (indeed!)”. Another reader wrote: “We shall raise some funds now to buy him a one-way ticket to Myanmar. Malaysia can do without such folk around.”

Either these people are out of their minds, or they are just cheap publicity-seekers.

Collect money to buy Abdul Rani an air ticket

Since Rani is so gung-ho about giving Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi a tight slap, I think we Malaysians would be more than happy to donate a one-way ticket for him.

I am suggesting that we set up a fund to pay for his airfare to Yangon, with one condition that we will only provide the return ticket after we read in the news that Rani has achieved his mission.

Rani has to go straight to the presidential office and ask to meet Aung San Suu Kyi on Day 1. If he fails to do it, he will have to sleep in the jungle area, since he claims to have slapped a tiger in the face.

My take is that after slapping Aung San Suu Kyi, Rani will be enjoying the rest of his life having free food and free hotel’s stay in Yangon. We would be more than happy to export more of such people to Myanmar.

I am sure my Malay friends would fully support my proposal, too.
