Beside PAS, Parti Warisan Sabah has confirmed that the party would not attend Pakatan Harapan convention tomorrow.

This is because, the party would be occupied with its statewide campaign Seri Jelajah Warisan at Kudat and Kota Marudu.

"We were invited but unfortunately (party president) Shafie (Apdal) and myself will be at our pre-planned Jelajah (events) at Kudat and Marudu," said Warisan deputy president Darrel Leiking in a text message.

According to Warisan's Facebook page, the party had invited the locals to attend the Gong Festival event with Shafie. All party leaders and lawmakers were mobilised to cover several locations at the Borneo state.

It was reported Warisan had been active in recruitting members and setting up branches since its formation.

Meanwhile, Harapan chief secretary Saifuddin Abdullah said the coalition had been notified that Warisan was unable to join the convention.

"Pakatan Harapan invited all opposition parties. I spoke to both Shafie and Darrel. They thanked us for the invite but said that they are not attending," said Saifuddin.

PAS information chief Nasrudin Hassan said the party declined to attend Harapan convention because of DAP, which it severed ties with some time ago.

Former prime minister and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad and president Muhyiddin Yassin had confirmed attendance.

According to a statement sent out by Saifuddin, Mahathir would give a special lecture while Muhyiddin was scheduled to speak at the convention.
