Shafie Apdal takes over existing party

Former Umno vice-president Shafie Apdal appeared at the Registrar of Societies (ROS) building in Putrajaya today to apply for a change in the name, logo and constitution of an existing party, which he recently took over.

However, the Semporna MP refused to reveal the name of the party when met by reporters after spending two hours in the building.

Shafie said the new name would only be announced once ROS gives its green light.
