All Malaysians must unite in the fight against corruption or it is going to destroy the country faster than racial polarisation.

Corruption is evil and even if we cannot eliminate it completely, we must take firm action against those against whom some evidence has been established. If we do not take any action, the cancer of corruption will only get worse and prove fatal to our nation. Even Indonesia has been able to convict its governor of Aceh for graft.

Pak Lah should get off that fierce tiger he is riding and be prepared to fight. He would be better remembered as someone who did his utmost to get Malaysia back onto the right path rather than someone who was a mere observer, paralysed by too much analysis.

If I were the prime minister, I would summon the attorney-general and tell him to proceed with his two most complete high-profile corruption cases even if there was some slight element of doubt that would may prevent a conviction.

Let the law take its course. Forget about other matters, least of all that April Fool's joke that would have done nothing except waste his - and his ministers' - valuable time.

If the AG cannot proceed on this basis, he should also step down. We can even appoint someone qualified like Karpal Singh to be the AG. I am sure he would be prepared to do this difficult duty for Malaysia.
