The traffic flow on major expressways in the country was reported to be smooth as at 10pm today.

A Plus Malaysia Berhad spokesperson told Bernama that traffic flow in both directions of the North-South Expressway was under control.

"However, there was an accident involving a car which occurred at Km160.8 (city bound) near Bukit Gambir heading towards Tangkak at 9.01pm today.

"However, the right lane has been opened and traffic flow reported to be smooth. No injuries or casualties were reported," said the spokesperson.

Meanwhile, the latest visuals on stretches of the major highways provided by the www.jalanow.com website showed that traffic flow on the East Coast Expressways 1 and 2 was also smooth.
