Is PAS competent to lead the opposition as it desires?
YOURSAY | 'What track record do you have? Segregating men and women from cinemas...'
'It's not hudud; DAP just doesn't want PAS to lead'
Renmin Zhenxian:
I for one don't know about this lame reason coming out from this much respected ulama, but it is past now.
With deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man's kind of leadership quality and your gang's type of kow-towing to whatever is deemed religious (self-defined), you are just not qualified to lead any political party. Period.
Anonymous_1398751861: Does PAS know how to lead? Just look at the deplorable state of affairs in Kelantan. More than a year after the 2014 floods, people are still living in tents.
Or see the total chaos that PAS had created in Kedah, resulting in BN taking over in GE13. So, Tuan Ibrahim, it is not that we don't want PAS to lead, we are just convinced that you are all completely incompetent.
Francis_14a3: Where's your brains? You won only 21 seats in GE13 and DAP won 38 seats. So who should lead?
SSDhaliwal: PAS, you are not fit to lead the opposition. Moreover, by having lesser seats than DAP, it is DAP that should lead. Besides, PAS losing Kelantan is a foregone conclusion, not due to your own actions.
And besides, it is Parti Amanah Negara that is going to put a nail in your coffin in Kelantan, not DAP.
Anonymous 19321438170918: What leadership skills do you have? What track record do you have? Segregating men and women in cinemas, hair salons, shopping queues and carts. Hello, what of the incest and rape record in the East Coast?
That is your record - poverty, lack of education and high on religion. You win Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan. In four years, you lose two out of the three. Look at yourselves in the mirror first before blaming others.
Gggg: Terengganu people have already rejected you after just one term. Kedah also said "tak nak" to PAS. So why blame DAP? Your own people rejected you.
Furthermore, what makes you think that you should automatically lead after Anwar Ibrahim is gone? Now I know why your Selangor assemblypersons did not show much support during Anwar's trial.
It is not DAP but Anwar who was the obstacle to your dream, isn't it?
Anonymous_3e86: PAS wants to lead because it wants to implement hudud nationwide if it takes over Putrajaya. Perhaps that's why DAP doesn't want PAS to lead. And that's a good enough reason why we reject PAS.
Hopeless: Not just DAP, but many of us Malays, even those non-Umno ones, do not want PAS to lead. The trust factor is just not there.
PAS does not seem to have the capacity to lead, its leaders are mostly comfortable to take the back seat when there are pressing issues facing the country. PAS is not leading to show the beauty of Islam in good governance, compassion, justice and so on.
RCZ: PAS mercilessly attacked DAP during its so-called party elections and got rid of all the liberals who supported not DAP, but supported doing the right thing. PAS did a number with the appointment of the former MB of Selangor and played dirty.
Its president Abdul Hadi Awang never attended Pakatan meetings and broke all agreements reached by the coalition and was a liar, was dishonest and a traitor to his partners. PAS lives in the Stone Age and wishes to bring back the chopping-off of hands and stoning to combat crime.
Need we go on? PAS, like Umno, needs to go and Malaysia needs to be ruled by sane and honest leaders.
JomUbahUbah: This PAS fellow is talking rubbish. The late PAS spiritual leader Nik Aziz Nik Mat did not want PAS to co-operate with the corrupt Umno, and yet PAS president Hadi Awang wants to be Umno adviser.
Therefore, all Kelantanese should vote Amanah in to take control of Kelantan in order to continue the late spiritual leader's legacy.
Anonymous #22175361: With respect to Tok Guru, after he departed PAS leads in nothing except in being power-hungry and hungry for posts in government. Furthermore, the party is supporting 'donations' openly. Is PAS leading the rakyat to ‘ neraka ’ (hell)?
Tommy : It's sad when tok guru's name has been dragged in to cover PAS’ failures...What leadership is Tuan Ibrahim talking about? PAS has never talked much about economic or welfare improvements for the country, only religion. And still they want to be taikor (gang leader)?
Vision2020: Tuan Ibrahim is speaking with a forked tongue. On the one hand, PAS is working closely with Umno, but on the other, dares not admit it.
Otherwise, why has PAS been attacking opposition parties like DAP and Amanah for the past two years, since the demise of our beloved Tok Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat?
Anonymous #59082512: So, is sleeping in the dark with the corrupt to core Umno also part of Tok Guru's legacy? Definitely not!
GE14NOW! : So the DAP does not want PAS to lead? Is that your point of contention? I will answer you in three little words then: 'Neither do I"..
