MACC panel to meet Apandi on Thursday

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) panel is scheduled to meet attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali on Thursday afternoon.

One of the panel members confirmed this to Malaysiakini .

Although speculation is rife that the meeting is to persuade Apandi to change his Jan 26 position in clearing Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak of any wrongdoing, the panel member who spoke on condition of anonymity, said it remains uncertain whether the AG wants to discuss anything concerning the PM.
