Dewan Rakyat speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia has been urged to table the long awaited Public Accounts Committee (PAC) report on the National Feedlot Corporation.

PAC member Tony Pua said Pandikar should present the report, completed and handed to the speaker in early 2014, to the House by tomorrow or Thursday.

"I hope the speaker can, in this session, present the PAC report (on NFC).

"So the relevant authorities can take the necessary action and for the public to find out the truth," Pua ( photo ) said in a press conference at the Parliament lobby today.

The PAC's NFC report was not presented to the Dewan in 2014 because the corporation was on trial at the time.

However, Pua pointed out that the Attorney-General's Chambers has withdrawn its charges against NFC and its boss Mohamad Salleh Ismail.

Hence, he said, there was no reason the report should be withheld any longer.

Salleh, who is Wanita Umno chief Shahrizat Abdul Jalil's husband, was acquitted last week after the AGC withdrew all four criminal breach of trust charges against him.

He was accused of misappropriating RM9,758,140 through four NFC cheques to fund part of the purchase of two condominiums at One Menerung complex in Kuala Lumpur.

He was also accused of transferring RM40 million through an NFC cheque into the account of National Meat & Livestock Corporation Sdn Bhd, a company which he and one of his children owned, between May 6 and Nov 16, 2009.
