On Nov 13, gunmen and suicide bombers killed 129 people in Paris as they attacked spectators at a football game in Paris, patrons at downtown restaurants and music lovers at a rock concert that Friday night.

Three days later authorities named known Belgian Islamic State (IS) militant Abdelhamid Abaaoud as the mastermind. This is his story, according to the Belgian interior ministry.
