Cops to probe all parties over leaked documents
Inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar said all parties will be investigated over the allegation that three Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) senior officers had leaked "sensitive documents" to T he Wall Street Journal .
"We will investigate all whom we are supposed to investigate, including those from private banks, BNM, as well as members of the special task force," he told reporters when quizzed on the matter.

Asked whether blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin (photo) - who had first claimed in his blog that the three BNM officers were under investigation following the leak - would also be investigated, Khalid confirmed that a police report had been lodged.
"A police report has been lodged and we know that he is not here (Raja Petra is overseas), so we will keep in view first the investigation against him," he added.
On Sunday, BNM denied the allegation that their officials leaked information regarding the 1MDB investigations to the media.
It said that a police report had been lodged on the matter as the allegations were "without any basis whatsoever".
BNM is part of the special task force investigating the 1MDB scandal including the alleged transfer of RM2.6 billion to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's personal accounts.
On a separate matter, Khalid said four days of 'Ops Selamat' has seen a sharp rise of deaths, with the police recording 95 fatalities so far.
"On average, there have been 24 deaths per day. At other times, we would record 18 deaths per day. Based on analysis, the deaths are due to negligence," he said.
As such, the police chief advised road users to exercise extra caution.
