The motion is in apparent retaliation to DAP which in March announced it was severing ties with PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang but would maintain relations with the party.
"DAP has been vocal in undermining the position of PAS and its president by announcing it was cutting ties with the president who is our father in PAS.
"We are unwilling to allow our president to be besmirched by DAP, whose boldness is due to some amongst us not being loyal to the president.
"They come into our house and try to replace our father. DAP's attitude is as if it is leading PAS and trying to control PAS," said PAS ulama committee member Mokthar Senik who proposed the motion.
Retain relationship with PKR
However, the motion said PAS would retain its relations with PKR in Pakatan Rakyat.
DAP had accused Abdul Hadi of undermining Pakatan Rakyat's collective decisions and refusing to cooperate with the coalition.
Subsequently, Perak PAS ulama representative Nor Azli Musa, in debating the motion, urged delegates to stand in support of the proposal.
All delegates in the hall rose to their feet and shouted "Allahu Akbar" several times at the PAS ulama muktamar in Gombak this evening.
The motion was unanimously passed despite an attempt by Kelantan representative Hassan Mahmood to amend the motion with milder language.
Hassan wanted the motion to be worded in such a way that the wing urges the Syura Council to study in detail PAS' position in Pakatan before severing ties with DAP.
However, this was shot down by Nor Azli.
A final decision would be made on the matter when it is brought to the muktamar of the main body which would take place for three days beginning tomorrow.
