"We condemn this inhumane attack which has resulted in the death and injury of many innocent civilians," Foreign Minister Syed Hamid Albar said in a statement to the official Bernama news agency.
"Malaysia does not condone such acts and expresses the hope that the perpetrators will be brought to justice," he said, conveying Malaysia's deepest condolences and sympathies to the Indonesian government and families of the victims.
The bombing killed at least nine and injured more than 180.
