They are supposed to be our elders. Showing us the way to govern ourselves. Yet they indulge in these silly games.

Snatch thieves are on the increase. Mobile telecommunication is having connectivity problems. We have filthy and diabolical water coming out of our taps. Newly-built police stations cannot be opened as their lock-ups are constructed poorly.

Our road networks are congested, causing businesses millions in cost. Our primary and secondary education standards are slipping, although the grades show otherwise. Helicopter after helicopter is crashing into the jungle.

Municipal councils have taken to doctoring documents in responses to cases filed by residents. Our sports is in the doldrums in spite of its development costing us taxpayers millions of dollars.

The above issues alone can keep our members of parliamentarians in session for a couple of years non-stop. Instead of that, what are those jokers doing? Wasting valuable time debating a silly motion on whether someone did mislead parliament.

My esteemed MPs, please grow up will you, the lot of you. Perhaps we need to send the lot of them for National Service courses so that they also can develop the good traits and nation building skills they constantly harp to us about.
