Hadi denies giving terrorism bill thumbs up

The PAS president's office has denied that Abdul Hadi Awang supports the Prevention of Terrorism Act (Pota) passed this week, which re-imposes detention without trial in Malaysia.

Bernama yesterday reported him supporting the new law dubbed by critics including PAS' Pakatan Rakyat coalition partners as a fortified revival of the draconian Internal Security Act (ISA).

He says Bernama report inaccurate and opposite of what the PAS president said.
