The Court of Appeal today has fixed April 24 as the hearing date to hear applications by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor to strike out the appeal of a suit by the widow of private investigator P Balasubramaniam.

The date was fixed when the matter came up for case management today.

Americk Sidhu ( left ), the lawyer representing the widow, A Santamil Selvi, confirmed this to Malaysiakini .

The suit was filed last year but it was struck out by the Kuala Lumpur High Court late last year.

The late Balasubramaniam, a private investigator for Abdul Razak Baginda, had lived in exile for five years in India following his statutory declaration that Najib knew the murdered Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu.
