No dilly-dallying for report against Nurul Izzah

Police today visited the home of PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar less than 24 hours after a police report was lodged against her.
The police report was lodged by former Kulim Bandar Baharu MP Zulkifli Noordin yesterday over her speech in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday.

When contacted, Nurul Izzah said four police personnel visited her home after she returned from visiting her father Anwar Ibrahim at the Sungai Buloh prison this afternoon.
She said the police wanted to bring her to the Dang Wangi district police headquarters to have her statement recorded.
"Efficient much, no?" she quipped.
Nurul Izzah told the police that she was leaving for Kelantan today and an appoint was set for the coming Monday.
In the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday, Nurul Izzah had read a portion of Anwar's speech as her own. Anwar is the opposition leader while Nurul Izzah is the Lembah Pantai MP.
The speech saw Nurul criticising the judges who convicted Anwar.
According to Bernama, Zulkifli said Nurul Izzah's speech was seditious and an insult to the judiciary.
Zulkifli said he believed the immunity provided to parliamentary members according to Article 63 Clause (2) of the Federal Constitution was no applicable to Nurul Izzah in this case.
