PM: Diversity makes M'sia a major tourist draw

Najib Abdul Razak said Malaysia’s diversity in culture and ethnicity were among the factors that made it a major Islamic-oriented tourism destination among the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries.

The prime minister said this on his Facebook page yesterday.
He also uploaded the Global Muslim Tourism Index (GMTI) table on the OIC country destinations which shows Malaysia scoring 83.8 points, followed by Turkey (73.8), United Arab Emirates (72.1), Saudi Arabia (71.3) and Qatar (68.2).
The prime minister congratulated all parties which contributed to this success and urged those involved to continue with their efforts to make Malaysia a top tourism destination.
