Former accountant-general Raja Abdul Aziz Raja Salim passed away at the National Heart Institute (IJN), early today.

A Terengganu Palace spokesperson said the late Raja Abdul Aziz, an uncle of the Sultan of Terengganu Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, died at about 1.15am.
His remains were flown to Terengganu at 3pm before being brought to Istana Maziah, Kuala Terengganu.
The funeral prayers were expected to be performed after Asar and the late Raja Abdul Aziz would then be laid to rest at the Masjid Abidin Royal Mausoleum.
Raja Abdul Aziz, 78, who was on the board of directors of K&N Kenanga, leaves a wife, Tengku Ramlah Azizah Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin, a son, Tengku Azmil Zahruddin and daughter, Tengku Azrina.
