NewMalaysia: What a childish comment, Abdul Hadi Awang! Your behaviour is worse than that of a schoolboy. If you only attend meetings based on your liking, then it’s better if you quit politics altogether.
As a leader, if you can't even attend a simple meeting, what else can the people expect you to do for them? You're a representative of the people, not your own company’s chief executive officer. It's not as if you're a chief minister like Lim Guan Eng who might have extra workload to take care of, and thus forced to skip certain meetings.
However, Hadi forgot to mention a very important point - unlike Hadi, Guan Eng never went against any decision or consensus made in the Pakatan leadership council meetings, despite not being able to attend some of them. He respects his comrades representing DAP in the meetings, whereas Hadi has no shame at all in going against his own party representatives who attended the meetings.
He is a disgrace and an embarrassment as a political leader. He can't even work along with his own party central committee, and he has the guts to condemn others?
Versey: In any joint partnership business, it's the duty and obligation of the business partners to attend meetings concerning the business. And I’m sure they would not have uttered such ridiculous comments as per this recalcitrant old man did.
How could any leader not understand that differences with others can never be resolved by holding grudges against them, but only by meeting and discussing the issues concerned?
Had I not known that this Hadi Awang is a leader of one of the major religious-cum-political parties in Malaysia, I would have thought that he is just a typical unwise, yet arrogant, conceited old man.
In any proper school, such behaviour could never lead to someone being elected as the head boy or prefect because such character is just not commendable, nor can it command respect from any right-thinking students.
Any correctly taught schoolboy would have behaved better than this. As the PAS president, please stop insulting the schoolboys.
Hearty Malaysian: It is obvious that this Hadi Awang is not fit to be a leader in the opposition coalition that people hope to take over the government in order to turn our country around from sinking further.
He refuses to even endorse his own party deputies’ decisions made when they attend on his behalf - purportedly due to his unavailability. PAS can act more mature than Hadi Awang and demand its president to act as a responsible leader, or pull out of the coalition all together.
We can accept Persatuan Ummah Sejahtera Malaysia (PasMa) if PAS leaves Pakatan. Mat Sabu and the rest should make the stand.

As for you, Encik Hadi, you'll be acting irresponsibly towards the Pakatan coalition if you purposely do not attend the upcoming Pakatan leadership council meeting in defiance of DAP's request for you to attend it, as you are the PAS chief.
Surely, you understand that the decisions made then will need the consensus of all party leaders. Please stop sabotaging Pakatan Rakyat. Be an honest man and just get PAS out of Pakatan if PAS does not want to remain as a partner.
For this, many people would be happy to see it happen.

Appum: Hadi, when I was a schoolboy, I was head of a society. I took my leadership roles and responsibilities very seriously and I attended all the inter-school society meetings responsibly. It was my duty to represent my group and school to the best of my commitment.
What kind of a schoolboy were you to have developed into such an irresponsible political leader - with much wider roles and commitment to society as a whole? I can imagine you must be the one always playing truant and giving all kinds of excuses to the teacher.
