Pakatan Rakyat's next leadership meeting remains up in the air after opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim admitted the coalition is still trying to bring all its coalition leaders to agree on a date.

DAP has insisted that the meeting not proceed until PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang is present as well, and Anwar admitted that some of these issues are still being sorted out.

"We will try to meet by the end of January or early February," he told reporters after having a dialogue with Selangor youths in Bandar Utama today.

The Pakatan leadership council has not met for over six months now.

Hadi (right) had rarely attended Pakatan meetings of late, delegating the party representation to either deputy president Mohamad Sabu or secretary general Mustafa Ali.
 
However, the Selangor Menteri Besar crisis, during which Hadi acted on his own accord and used his veto power to constantly scupper Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail's bid to become the MB, had left DAP demanding that Hadi personally attend the meetings as only he had decision making powers in PAS.
 
Anwar also admitted that the Pakatan leadership is still waiting to be shown a copy of the proposed Kelantan state enactment amendments that would help bolster PAS' hudud ambitions for the state.
 
"We had a very clear agreement- which is that the enactment was from the past and anything that is going to be done after becoming a coalition must be agreed upon by Pakatan Rakyat," he said.
 
"So, we need to see the bill. We have asked for it but we are yet to see it. But I understand the Kelantan state government might be busy with the floods," he added.
