Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) is currently reviewing the termination involving 19 PKNS Holdings Sdn Bhd (PHSB) staff following the menteri besar crisis in Selangor.

“At present, three out of the 19 staff are working with a PKNS subsidiary company, while four others are undergoing interviews for positions available under PKNS’ subsidiaries,” says the statement issued today.

Meanwhile, PKNS said it was considering suggestions for an out-of-court settlement with the remaining 12 staff.

Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali (left) has ordered State Secretary Khusrin Munawi to review the termination of 30 contract staff from the PKNS subsidiary.

Azmin was himself was ousted from PKNS last year, during the administration of his predecessor Abdul Khalid Ibrahim .

Azmin also said he would not rest until justice is served to the sacked employees of PHSB.

The 30 contract staff were sacked from PHSB last February after complaints were made that the staff were paid excessively and hired without proper interviews.

Azmin's contract as PKNS director was not renewed last year, in what observers saw as a political purge by the then-state administration.
