PM returns to work after E coli infection

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has returned to work following a bout of illness after contracting the E coli bacterial infection.
Najib chairs today's cabinet meeting, which focused on the recent floods.

In a Twitter posting this afternoon, Najib also included a photograph showing him chairing the cabinet meeting.
"Thank God, back to work today. Thank-you to all, including online friends, who prayed and wished for (my) speedy recovery," reads his post.
In a subsequent post, Najib said the main agenda of the cabinet meeting was issues related to the floods and help for the victims.
On Monday, the Prime Minister's Office tweeted that Najib would take a break due to his E coli infection.
It had stated that Najib was infected after visiting the flood-hit areas in several states last week.
"The doctors have advised him to rest. He will resume his duties as soon as possible," the tweet said.
