As its name implies, the Malay-based NGO Ikatan Muslimin Malaysia (Isma) should focus on building racial ties in an effort to promote national harmony, instead of playing on racial issues for its own personal benefit.

It is simply absurd for Isma deputy president Aminuddin Yahaya to suggest that MCA leave the BN coalition.

If Aminuddin is so concerned about MCA, then it is Isma who should take a look at themselves in the mirror - especially on the subject of their policies - so that they can transform themselves into an NGO that actually promotes unity, rather than trying to fight for their own benefit.

If they can do so, then it will actually help Malaysia’s development.

Seeing that several states in Malaysia are currently severely affected the recent flood crisis, MCA is now trying to help the victims, regardless of race or religion.

Thus, Isma should know that this is the time for them to quit their paranoid, nonsensical thoughts, and to focus on doing their part to help their fellow Malaysians instead.
