PAS vice-president Husam Musa today denied that he is involved with the party’s NGO offshoot Pasma, which is championing for better relations between PAS and Pakatan Rakyat.

Husam has been long touted as being the mastermind behind the NGO, which comprises of PAS members who were unhappy with PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang’s decisions not to go along with Pakatan’s decisions during the Selangor menteri besar crisis.

“I am not involved with Pasma, the allegation is merely slander on social media,” Husam was quoted as saying by PAS mouthpiece HarakahDaily during a programme in Pahang today.

Meanwhile, he also urged an improvement in relations between PAS’ ulama and professional factions, who have had a strained relationship ever since the MB crisis started.

“We need to improve our relationships within PAS and we need to realise what is the enemy’s motive. Do not play up internal party issues on social media,” he said.

PAS leaders had been critical of each other’s factions publicly through social media in the past.
