Sarawak PAS has launched a broadside on DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng for accusing the Islamic party and its president Abdul Hadi Awang of sabotaging Pakatan Rakyat.

State PAS information chief Abusiraj Almuner said that Lim was turning a blind eye to Sarawak DAP's transgressions.

He said Lim, who is also Penang chief minister, should be reprimanding Sarawak DAP for severing ties with both PAS and PKR over the hudud issue.

"Is Lim aware of the negative actions by Sarawak DAP which has caused a rift in Sarawak Pakatan?" he asked in a statement today.

The DAP leader recently made veiled attacks that PAS was threatening Pakatan's survival, and openly lamented about Hadi's absence from the opposition pact's leadership meetings.

Meanwhile, Sarawak DAP last month announced it would boycott all state PKR and PAS events until the two parties clarified their stand on the implementation of hudud.

Its chairperson Chong Chieng Jen said while Sarawak DAP remains part of Pakatan for now, it would leave the pact if the PAS ulama faction wins the party elections next year.

Abusiraj questioned why Lim has not revealed the DAP leadership’s stand on this matter.

"It would be better for him to solve this issue with Sarawak DAP from becoming a burden to Sarawak Pakatan allies," he said.

He added Sarawak DAP had inadvertently become a tool for the state BN component, SUPP.

"SUPP only wants to see Sarawak DAP out of Pakatan, and they have almost succeeded. Now it is up to Sarawak DAP to think of their party's future," he said
