Narrow-minded on vernacular schools

Only those who refuse to appreciate the beauty of unity in diversity will justify blaming the failure of a government on vernacular schools.
Vernacular schools do not teach children to go against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the rulers, the constitution, Islam or Malays.
I see emphasis constantly made to Tamil school children on unity among Malaysians and we don’t have any problem with that. Merdeka Day celebrations are a real joy in Tamil schools. I have seen it myself.
If citizens of a democratic country decide not to support a particular political party, it is their political right. That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less.
In this case of vernacular schools, citizens are losing faith with a political party known as Umno and its allies in the Barisan Nasional. How can that be viewed as a threat to national unity ?
I urge those narrow-minded politicians who are harping about closing down vernacular schools to understand the huge differences between going against the country and disagreeing with a ruling political party. Otherwise they will only be exposing how ignorant they are about reality.
Not agreeing with a political party occurs not only among those who have attended vernacular schools.
Otherwise, these narrow minded politicians are forcing everyone to believe Tok Guru Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat and hundreds of thousands in PAS are from either Tamil or Chinese schools. The same goes to Anwar Ibrahim and his Malay members of PKR and the non-vernacular school-goers in DAP.
Look at the list of those who have been arrested under the Sedition Act, meaning that they are a threat to national security. How many of them have gone to Tamil schools or Chinese schools?
Or have none of them gone to national schools? That is how silly these ignorant politicians, who blame every failure of the present government on vernacular schools, are.
One thing for sure. The Umno annual general meeting is approaching. These narrow minded people will have to raise something sensational, no matter how stupid their arguments are, as long as they can stir and rise the emotions of the delegates and be seen as saviours (of what, only they know) so that they can tighten their grab for power.
It is their narrow mentality again that has made them assume the poor delegates will always fall for such speeches without any substance. Only the delegates should, and can, prove they are more matured than assumed by these narrow-minded politicians.
