PAS secretary-general Mustafa Ali said today he will not "entertain" Wanita PKR chief Zuraida Kamaruddin on her call for a review of the Selangor exectuive council seat allocation to PAS.

Malay daily Sinar Harian quoted Mustafa as saying Zuraida "does not understand", but he did not elaborate on this.

"She doesn't understand, I don't want to entertain," Mustafa is reported as saying.

"Saying she doesn't understand is enough… I don't have to comment because she does not understand," he said.

Zuraida (left) called for the state exco positions allocated to PAS to be reviewed due to the party's handling of the Selangor menteri besar issue, which angered both PKR and DAP.

Meanwhile, PAS has submitted its proposed list of state executive councillors (excos) for Selangor to Menteri Besar Azmin Ali, Mustafa is also quoted as saying.

PAS mouthpiece Harakah Daily quoted Mustafa as saying that the decision was made by president Abdul Hadi Awang after Selangor PAS gave the mandate on choosing the exco members to the central PAS leadership.

"The PAS president submitted the names to the MB last night," Mustafa said.

However, he did not reveal the number of exco candidates named, or the names of the candidates, but said there might not be "major changes" to the previous exco line-up from PAS.

"I have no problems if all four exco members are retained," he added.

The four PAS exco members under previous menteri besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim were severely criticised by DAP and PKR for refusing to resign.

This camer after Khalid sacked the six PKR and DAP exco members after PKR sacked Khalid from the party for not heeding its call to resign as menteri besar.

The for PAS exco members had stayed on with Khalid until his final day of administration earlier this week, enabling him to continue ruling the state for over a month as an independent after his sacking from PKR.

Selangor PAS had earlier said that it intends to retain all the four exco members.
