The statement by BlueRider seems to indicate that he/she prefers for poverty to remain and that special rights should be retained on the basis of ethnic origin. Is it not more important for poverty be wiped out regardless of one's background?

This is because the special rights mainly brings profits to the elites with many of those targeted by this scheme (special rights) being left out. This causes people like BlueRider to feel that people of his/her ethnic origin are still behind in economic terms thus requiring more special rights.

The question is whether the targeted people ever receive what they deserved? Or will it continue to go down the drain, or rather into the pockets of the wealthy and the elites?

Surely, poverty eradication is more important than uneven financial distribution. The elites continue to take the benefits and the balance has not been achieved. And the story goes on ... forever and ever.

So I wonder if BlueRider belongs to those elites who have received the benefits but prefer to have things easy and laze or lepak around at the expense of others who really need financial help and rights without discrimination.

People who think like that are the ones who have no feelings for our nation advancing to a better era with minimal poverty among its citizens. They seem to be selfish to the extreme with no thoughts for the poor.
