Pak Lah is a man on a mission, has no time for trivialities and will not be sidetracked from his goals by petty issues.

But I just wonder what qualifies as issues that do not concern him and what has made him forget his earlier pledges of listening to the people and working for them. Now he will only do it 'his way,' like it or not. My, what a difference a general election makes. Pak Lah's spin doctors and think-tank must have gone on vacation or fallen asleep at the wheel.

It has been over a week since we went to the polls, and I see that there are no signs of action being initiated on the issue of the 'tainted' and irregular elections. Pak Lah, true to form, has shied away from it, no one seems to want to even try to address it and we have a drowning man doing all the talking so far.

This issue cannot be left hanging out there or swept under the carpet. It needs to be tackled in a responsible and transparent manner and brought to some satisfactory closure fast.

Or must we wait for the cue first before all the king's men will come out singing the same tune with the mainstream media joining in the chorus?
