I am really upset with the voting system carried out by Election Commission this year. I have been a permanent resident at Section 24, Shah Alam, in Selangor for more than 10 years. I have bought a house there and my IC shows that address in Shah Alam for more than 10 years. I have also voted in1999, using the same address, at Sekolah Kebangsaan Section 24 Shah Alam.

On election day, I was very upset when I discovered that my name was not listed in the school at all. How could it be? My wife's name was there and she did vote. When I checked with the EC through SMS, I was surprised that my name was transferred back to my hometown in Manjoi, Ipoh, Perak.

I was here in Shah Alam in 1999 and voted here and suddenly they put my name back in Ipoh. It is really insane. Who asked them to transfer my voting place?

I am writing this on behalf of thousands out there who faced the same problem on polling day.
