Should we focus on education of boys?

Women are indeed better educated than their male counterparts hands down, but have we ever thought why boys and men have become intellectually inferior? As we are so proud of our women and rally behind the successful ones, have we ever stopped to think why our boys and men have become lower in the educational and leadership strata?
It is because of the system, the system is tuned and suited to entice and excite the female mind but fails when it comes to attracting the male to learn. Further, almost 100 percent of the teaching workforce now in most parts of the world are made up of women. So the reason for the dismal performance of the boys and men are because of the women who mould them when they are born i.e. their mothers, and thereafter the women who teach them about life i.e. their teachers.
In most parts of the world, it is religion and reproduction that impedes women from taking the lead for good. The three biggest nations in Latin America i.e. Brazil, Argentina and Chile are led by women so it is not surprising that the boys there are only good at playing football.
This phenomena is largely due to the fact that women have taken over most of the arts and linguistics faculties of study which is where most of the teaching force starts from and over the decades the sciences have also been taken over by the women.
Since they are largely the educators, who are seen as the prime moulders of the minds of the young who learn under them, the plight of boys and men today is largely due to the fact that they have been moulded to this state by the women in their lives.
This development is not new and almost every other year for the past two decades we have been witnessing study after study and survey after survey to show us that women are far ahead and men have been left in a time warp and have become intellectually redundant. What these studies don't tell is why men have come to this state?
Let’s take any premier secondary school here in our beloved country for example, it is the girls’ schools which produce the best grades no matter how hard the public exams may be. The same applies later when the girls go to the universities, they are the ones who are producing the first class honours and the loads of accolades that the university receives for many other studies conducted and participation at the international level.
Total takeover?
We finally have to ask ourselves, do we feel proud of our women? Well the answer is obviously in the affirmative. They are taking over wherever they possibly can. We may see a total take over once Russia, the United States, Israel, the Arab World, the African continent and the most of Asia is led by women.
But as we see this advancement and feel delighted about it and feel very elated about it, what do our boys and men do? They are the products of women. Women give birth to boys and nurture and mould them to become men, so where have they gone wrong for their sons, husbands, fathers, brothers to be faring so badly and not being able to compete with them?
I believe it is the women who have to take the lead in seeing their boys and men being able to compete again and go to the fullest extend of their ability in succeeding in whatever chosen field of endeavour in life.
Teaching and the education of boys should be given focus on since the girls have left them far behind. More should be stressed on the ability to master languages and communication which is a very important aspect to be able to catch up with the girls. Only the women will be able to do this because they are the teachers, lecturers, professors, education ministers and in most cases the prime ministers and presidents as well.
Whilst women can be proud of themselves for what they have achieved and for what their daughters have achieved and are achieving continuously, such pride will not be complete until they help their sons achieve the same as well.
It is not surprising today to see men throwing their support behind women leaders because they see them as being in a better position to defend their rights. Therefore it will be the task of the women who will have to start educating the boys and men and help build up confidence in them to compete with the women.
