Faekah: MB 'dossier' akin to Anwar's '50 Dalil'

The "dossier" released by PKR on Abdul Khalid Ibrahim is akin to the infamous book 50 Dalil (50 reasons why Anwar Ibrahim cannot be Prime Minister), according to the menteri besar’s ex-political aide Faekah Husin.

The 50 Dalil (50 reasons why Anwar Ibrahim cannot be Prime Minister) book was released prior to Anwar's sacking in 1998.
The book, penned by the late Khalid Jafri, highlighted Anwar's alleged sexual misconduct. It was distributed to Umno delegates during the party's general assembly in that year.
In the 91-page document, handed over to PAS leaders, PKR raised doubts over the "rushed" water industry restructuring deal and Khalid's out-of-court settlement with Bank Islam early this year.
Faekah (left), who is now the CEO of Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI) and one of Khalid's closest and staunchest supporters, said the action by PKR had left Khalid with "no choice" but to clear his name.
"Any human with a brain and dignity will act the way Khalid acted," she told Berita Harian in an interview in reference to the MB insisting on holding on to the post despite being expelled from PKR.
She also described Khalid as a "model leader" for any Pakatan Rakyat administration.
However, contrary to a news portal’s report quoting the same interview published today, Faekah did not mention of Khalid would form a new party.
"Whether (he will join a party) or form his own party, better we wait and see what he will do next," she had said.
'Khalid not power hungry'
Faekah also argued that Khalid cannot be accused of being "power hungry" even though he is still holding on to his post after being told to resign.
She said that since all Pakatan components have not reached an agreement as to who should replace Khalid, Khalid actually "is trying to save the state" by staying on as MB.
"The Sultan also has not consented to the replacement. So that process will take three or four weeks at least. The state will be in chaos without local authorities.
"So Khalid was actually trying to save the state from further chaos. But he was accused of being power hungry," she said.
