PAS has reportedly said it has other ideas for Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim's replacement besides PKR president Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

According to Umno-linked daily Berita Harian today, PAS secretary-general Mustafa Ali  said that they have several althernative names to discuss during their meeting tomorrow.

"There are several other names that we are thinking of whom we feel are suitable, but I cannot reveal them now as we have to wait for the meeting," he was reported saying.

He repeated PAS' claim that they have asked their four exco members to remain with Khalid in order to ensure the Pakatan Rakyat Selangor government continues running.

PKR and DAP exco members had publicly declared support for Khalid to be replaced with Wan Azizah (left), following  Khalid's  expulsion from PKR last weekend,and as a result the MB had dismissed them from the exco.

Mustafa also said his coalition partners should explain why they are angry with PAS over the Selangor MB crisis.

"We have to ask them, on what basis are they reprimanding PAS?" he was reported as saying.

PAS' central committee will meet tomorrow to decide the party's stand on the crisis.

Its leaders have said they are following their syura council's decision prior to Khalid's expulsion, to support  his remaining as MB until a decision is reached tomorrow.
