I read with interest the articles on protection of native Malaysians and the lack of effort on the part of Umno/BN in enhancing these rights.

As a Malay, I would like to say we all descended from these aborigines and we should care much, much more for them than we do today, because they are us.

We should do all we can to pressure the government of the day to protect the land rights of aborigines, just as it has protected our Malay reserve lands.
