Has PKR a complicit role in MB's 'misdeeds'?

PKR’s 40-page dossier on Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim’s alleged misdeeds raises questions of whether the party had been complicit in a cover-up, Suaram adviser Kua Kia Soong said today.
Among these, Kua said, PKR and Pakatan Rakyat should answer when and where these supposed malpractices were first discovered, and whether they were discovered after the 13th general election when Khalid was reappointed as menteri besar.

“PKR and Pakatan Rakyat should account for their cover-up of Khalid’s alleged wrongdoings all this time,” he said in a statement.
Kua also asked how the alleged malpractices had slipped under PKR director of strategy Rafizi Ramli’s notice, having exposed several corruption allegations in the past.
In addition, he asked if PKR vice-president Tian Chua had been keep in the dark about the allegations, since he was recently quoted as saying that Khalid would remain as the state’s economic adviser after he leaves office as menteri besar.
Yesterday, PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution claimed to have a 40-page dossier of questionable practices by Khalid, including purported business dealings with a company that has not been properly explained.
Despite claiming that Khalid has “questions of integrity”, he stopped short of accusing him of being corrupt. The document is slated to be presented to Pakatan Rakyat’s leadership today.
The allegations came at a time when PKR is moving to oust Khalid and to put PKR president and Kajang assemblyperson Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail in his place as menteri besar.
Khalid has denied any wrongdoing and challenged his party to take these allegations to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), while Rafizi challenged Khalid to sue the party for defamation if he believes the allegations are untrue.
“Saifuddin should realise that there is no turning back now. Malaysians will not accept these serious charges being withdrawn should Tan Sri Khalid step down because they involve the interests of the rakyat of Selangor and the whole country.
“The genie has been let out of the bottle,” he said.
