An Umno supreme council member has warned Malay youth from falling for the young female Malay DAP members the party is “using” to attract Malays to the party.

Irmohizam Ibrahim, who is also Kuala Selangor MP, told Umno Online that the DAP’s “tactic” involving young Malay women is part of a two-pronged “silent strategy”.

He said that DAP has realised that it cannot forever rely on its Pakatan partners PAS and PKR for Malay support.

“DAP is increasingly desperate for Malay support, so it is using this approach, knowing that Malay youths are easily influenced.

“I am sure we do not want to see this country ruined due to the mistake made by obsessed youth, who are not vigilant against DAP’s trickery,” Irmohizam is quoted as saying.

Therefore, he called on Malay youths to study DAP’s history so that their judgment would not be clouded by the young Malay women that DAP puts on show.

DAP recently introduced a number of its young Malay female members, including its Teluk Intan by-election candidate Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud and party newbie Young Syefura Othman.
