BN's Noh sings praises for MB Khalid

Selangor Umno liaison chairman Noh Omar said although Abdul
Khalid continued to be pressured by Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders, the move demonstrated his awareness to give priority to the people.
"Abdul Khalid has found the courage to sign the water agreement with the federal government, but what we want is for him to have the courage to expose why Pakatan leaders insist on removing him," he told reporters at the Aidilfitri Open House for Tanjong Karang Parliamentary constituency today.
He said this when asked to comment on the signing of the agreement by Abdul Khalid (above).
The signing of the agreement on Friday by Abdul Khalid, who represented the Selangor government, had given an assurance that water tariff in the Klang Valley would not be raised for the next three years.
Noh added that while the water crisis had yet to be resolved, the Port Klang assemblyman had been drawn into a power struggle to replace him as the Selangor menteri besar but the Selangor Umno chairman decsribed it merely as a political gimmick to draw pulbic attention back to Pakatan.
Recently, PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim had announced that the Pakatan Rakyat Leadership Council, which met on
July 20, had accepted a proposal to replace Abdul Khalid as the Selangor menteri besar and had nominated PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail to fill the post.
