Murder of Estonian model: Seven out on bail

Seven people who were remanded to facilitate investigations into the murder of Estonian model Regina Soosalu in Pulau Rawa on July 1, have been released on police bail.

In a statement from Johor Bahru, Johor CID chief, Hasnan Hassan said they were freed with one guarantor. He said the police would present the investigation paper to the deputy public prosecutor's office for further action," he added.
Hasnan said the model's body had been handed over to her family on July 24, via a special representative of the Estonian Republic in Malaysia, for burial.
