DAP and their leaders used to have my support. However, as I grow older and perhaps a little bit wiser, I begin to realize that DAP has actually contributed a lot to where we are today.

DAP used to champion the fight against unfair BN policies, but all they have achieved is to be recognised by the Malay masses as an anti-Malay party. They have really fitted in well with Umno's daily abuse of the system, making it what it is today: a party of elite new rich Malay millionaires.

Umno was able to hide behind their racist facade to plunder the nation's wealth and DAP contributed not little to this. Whenever any mismanagement is brought up, DAP acts as the bogeyman and the average Malay gets hoodwinked.

There were times when practically all Chinese majority parliamentary seats were held by the DAP. Was it able to change anything? The results are just too obvious for all to see.

Having been branded anti-Malay by Umno all these years have made DAP a taboo among the Malays. Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah paid dearly for not recognising this fact.

Now DAP is trying hard to be recognised as anti-Islam. When the average Malay believes that DAP is anti-Islam, DAP will again contribute to the Islamic extremists gain, by acting as their bogeyman.
