I am perplexed at the arrogant outburst of Entrepreneur Development Minister Nazri Aziz. His remarks sound as if all ministers are above the law, and that corruption allegations involving ministers cannot be investigated by the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA).

What is the ACA for? Does this mean that all ministers are immune from investigations by the ACA?

Just because Nazri is a minister doesn't make him above any investigations. His statement to the press yesterday, that "politicians are the political masters" and government employees are servants, is also out of order. Are we still in the age of slavery?

As far as I am concerned, no one is above the law. If the ACA intends to investigate anyone, it does not matter whether the person is a minister or not.

I am very glad that ACA enforcement director Nordin Ismail has the courage to say that warrants of arrest will be issued for any minister who does not co-operate in the investigations.
