A group of pro-Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) settlers turned up at Parliament today to protest against another group of Felda settlers who were at Parliament yesterday to handover a memorandum concerning the government-owned plantation conglomerate.

Over 1,000 pro-Felda protesters including Felda officials gathered in front of the Parliament around 9.40 am this morning to protest against the action of yesterday’s group and to show their support for Felda.

Carrying placards ‘MPOB license for what’ and ‘We support Felda’, today’s group urged parliament members to not bother about yesterday’s group’s demand for individual licences. They claimed Felda was always fair in its transactions with settlers.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Razali Ibrahim met with a representative from today’s group and will hold a press conference later today.
