The allegation that International Free Anwar Campaign representative Abdul Rahim Ghouse and his partner has had business deals with Sheikh Yassin Al-Qadi, if true, does not mean the former were terrorists or support terrorism.

This is because all, or rather most, businessmen will carry on business dealings with a lot of people everyday without checking their background, unless of course they already have knowledge that the people they are dealing with are crooks. Surely not all businessmen in Malaysia get to investigate the people they deal with. Hence, the many commercial crime cases.

This is similar to the United States accusing Malaysia as being a haven or involved in terrorism just because the terrorists were in the country a few times prior to Sept 11. That is a faulty analysis by the US intelligence service.
