I am amazed, if not humoured, by the way Abdul Rahman explained why PAS is seen as intolerant. Is it true that being hard on vice means being intolerant?

If Abdul Rahman speaks for the PAS, then the party is way out of the real world. Many NGOs in Malaysia have declared war on vice too, but why are they not seen as intolerant? The answer is simple, PAS has a very different explanation for the word 'vice'.

Abdul Rahman said: "The same goes to the other so-called Islamic parties or governments in the world which Disappointed paints as intolerant. Why has this happened? Simple, because of their intolerance to vice."

Is banning women from schools and public places as practised by the Taliban an anti-vice move?

I have a few questions for the PAS and I hope Abdul Rahman can give me a clear 'Yes' or 'No' answer:

1) If PAS comes to power, will it ban TV and radio programmes with female actresses or DJs since women's voices are considered seductive in PAS' definition? Does it mean that even non-Muslim females will not be allowed to on air?

2) Will PAS abolish the racial quotas in all fields (entries to learning institutions, awarding contracts...)? Will the NEP be discontinued?

3) Since slavery is tolerated in the Holy Book, will one be allowed to have slaves?

4) Since no specific punishment is mentioned in the Holy Book about apostasy and since 'there is no compulsion in Islam', will Muslims be allowed to give up their religion?

5) Since PAS is tolerant, will Muslims be allowed to learn about other religions freely under PAS rule?
