Describing the remarks as "returning to the stone age", MCA Youth chief Chong Sin Woon said there was no room for Isma in this multiracial nation.
He also quipped that the Chinese have now been upgraded from being described as pendatang (immigrants) in the past to penceroboh (intruders).
"We are fed up with such statements...," Chong (right) told a press conference today
He will lodge a report against Isma with the Dang Wangi district police headquarters.
If the police do not take action, MCA Youth would consider taking civil action against Isma.
Yesterday, Isma president Abdullah Zaik Abdullah Rahman described Chinese Malaysians as "intruders", in response to the community's opposition to the implementation of hudud.
Abdullah Zaik said the ancestors of Chinese Malaysians were "in cahoots with the British to oppress the Malays"
He also stated: "The Chinese came to this country with the British as intruders. Who gave them citizenship and wealth to the extent that the fruits of their intrusion are protected to this day?”
To this, Chong, who is also a senator, said Isma's remark questioning the citizenship of Malaysian Chinese was unconstitutional.
“It is time for the government to take stern action against such extremists,” he stressed.
In a separate statement later, Gerakan deputy youth chief Andy Yong Kim Seng urged that Isma be charged under the Sedition Act.
“If they can charge Teresa Kok under Section 4(1)(b) of the Act, I do not see there is any difficulty here. There shall be a fair and just system applicable to all,” he said, while pointing out that it was the indigenous communities who first settled in Malaysia.
Harsh words for Jamil Khir
On another matter, Chong gave harsh words to Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Jamil Khir Baharom for forming a technical task force on hudud with the PAS-led Kelantan state government.
He warned the Jerai MP not to send a message to the public that Putrajaya was assisting PAS on hudud implementation by setting up this committee.
Chong said even if Jamil Khir was merely carrying out his duties as minister in charge of Islamic affairs, there had never been any discussion or consensus on hudud among BN component parties.
Police later confirmed in a press statement that it has received several reports against Isma. This will be investigated under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act 1948, Deputy IGP Mohd Bakri Mohd Zinin disclosed.
"We will not hesitate to enforce the law, using Sedition Act in particular, against anybody who issues statements or acts in any form that is seen capable of breaking up racial ties in the country," the statement said.
