I refer to the letter by LCH on what PAS must do to woo non-Muslim voters. I agree that PAS must adhere to certain universal values that are common to all humanity.

I am confident that PAS will do away with certain legislation, such as ISA, that are against human rights worldwide. This is a reason to vote for PAS. In an Islamic state there is no such thing as detention without trial.

Islam imposes a high level of evidence required for its courts. Even non-Muslims who are fed up with police brutality, our compliant judiciary, draconian laws, racist policies etc, will welcome PAS with open arms (unless they believe the ruling government's propaganda that PAS = Taliban).

I know many PAS members. They don't oppress their wives or prevent their daughters from getting an education or cut people's hands off or such. In fact, they are devout Muslims, devoted husbands and fathers and believe in the rule of law.
