Allows me to refer to the letter from LJ, 'Under Islamic state, Quran is supreme'. He wrote, "Under Umno thus far, Islamic laws have been applied to Muslims".

Umno never implements the true Islamic laws since they took power. What we have now are two systems of law, the civil and the syariah. The syariah court deals with marriages and family matters of Muslims. Meanwhile, criminal cases that involve Muslims are conducted in the civil court. This does not include the type of punishments specified in Islamic laws.

LJ also stated, "... but it (PAS) wants to replace the federal constitution with the Quran/Syariah/Sunnah (Quran) as the supreme law of the land".

PAS secretary-general Nasharudin Mat Isa in his question-and-answer session in malaysiakini, said that the party will not abolished the parliamentary system if they are elected. And Abdul Hadi Awang, the PAS president, once said, PAS will respect the federalism concept if they win power in the next election.

How is it that PAS intends to replace the federal constitution when they want to maintain the parliamentary system and federalism in Malaysia?
