The recent convention held by PAS Selangor was really an eye opener - at least for me after reading malaysiakini's report.

The free-flowing remarks and criticism made by the delegates in front of leaders such as Dewan Ulama chief Harun Taib really caught my imagination! The practice of criticising openly without fear should be emulated by Umno.

Imagine Umno's convention with these kind of comments directed at the top leaders. Why can't Umno be like PAS?

Even the great performance of PAS' MPs should be commended. Although we still miss DAP national chairperson Lim Kit Siang in the parliament, the brilliant revelation by PAS MPs on wrongdoings by the powers-that-be should at least receive better coverage in the media.

Why can't Umno be like PAS?

Why can't Hishammuddin (Hussein Onn) be like Mahfuz (Omar)?

Why can't Annuar Musa be like Husam Musa?
