Prime Minister Najib Razak today visited PAS deputy spiritual leader Haron Din at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur.

Najib, who arrived at 1.30pm, spent about 30 minutes with Haron, who has been warded at IJN since last week.

Haron, 73, who was seen cheerful, was accompanied by his daughter Dr Huda Haron and son-in-law Dr Azlin Azzuddin.

Also present was IJN cardiology consultant Dr Amin Ariff Nuruddin.

Meanwhile, Najib in his latest posting on his Facebook, said Haron's health was improving and he hoped the latter would be back on his feet soon.

“Alhamdulillah (Thank God), his health is improving. Let's all pray he fully recovers," Najib said in the posting, which also had an uploaded picture of him firmly holding the religious leader's hands.
